- I am Bee. Anything and anyone. Entity that is 25. This part is so hard idk.
- 2. How long have you been making websites?
- 2024! But I used to do a little bit of stuff back in the day for my tumblr.
- 3. And what got you into the hobby?
- I woke up one day and sketched out a webpage n was like "ok, I am going to make this."
- 4. What kind of website are you most interested in?
- Anyone that is practicing self expression.
- 5. What's your workflow? Do you plan your websites out thoroughly or do you come up with the design as you go
along?
- I come up with a concept, or what I want it to be about. I usually sketch out a design you can see them here and then work
off of that. Sometimes I approach a new page with the intention to learn more js or css or whatever.

- 7. What's your favourite part about making websites?
- Keeping my mind on making and figuring out something.
- 8. And the thing you struggle with the most?
- Imposter Syndrome. Perfectionism.
- 9. Do you keep the same layout on all of your pages? Or do you use different ones?
- Different. Every page is different. Because the person who makes them is different.
- 10. How confident are you with CSS?
- I feel pretty confident sometimes but who is to say if that is true or not. I recently learned how to actually use the before and after pseudo elements and svg shape paths.
- 11. Do you know how to correctly use <dl>?
- I suppose. I should use it more.
- 12. What is your favourite HTML element?

- 13. If you're making a new web page from scratch, what is the first thing you do?
- Sketch it out.
- 14. Do you know JavaScript?
- Yes. I love it for making things funky but I am like a blind dumb baby.
- 15. How about PHP?
- Not really. Neocities does not support PHP so I have avoided it.
- 16. Does your website have a theme that you stick to?
- No it is just what I think of next. I wish though.
- 17. Are you more focused on content or design?
- Design but I like having places to constantly update with content to remind myself of myself.
- 18. Do you own a domain name? If not, would you ever want to?
- No. Maybe. If it was cheap.
- 19. What do you think of nostalgia-focused or "retro" websites?
- Everyone is so creative and it is good to be inspired.
- 20. Is your HTML valid? Do you even check?
- LMAO no. If it works it works. I really am only making stuff for myself.
- 21. What are your opinion on buttons and banners?
- I do not understand how to make them look so crispy and at this point I am too scared to ask. My buttons are so blurry. Curse you resolution and ratios. Curse you.
- 22. What do you think of button walls in particular?
- Awesome. Hard to keep track of stuff like that!!
- 23. If you started over again, would you make something similar or completely different?
- Totally different.
- 24. Are you envious of other people's websites?
- Yes. All the time. Constantly. Everyone is so creative!!!

- Visual Studio Code
- 26. Why do you use that one?
- I like the live preview plug in thing and how it sorts folders. And that I can customize everything.
- 27. Do you host your image files on your web server, or on another host?
- Images are all on neocities. Videos and audio usually cat box.
- 28. This might not be relevant to you, but what's your opinion on the Neocities vs. Nekoweb debate?
- Valid. Nekoweb seems more intimate and that scares me, but I like their ethics more than the Neocities guy.

- 30. Do you keep local backups of your files?
- Yes!
- 31. Do you prefer simple or highly visual websites?
- Both
- 32. Do you stick to certain colours? Do you do that on purpose, or is it your subconscious?
- I like the color red but space is neons and bright colors. Its usually whatever looks good at the time.
- 33. Have you ever thought about quitting? Why?
- All the time. I am scared of how many people see my site. I am scared of being judged for how much I do not know or what I have done. Perception is SCARY. Bleh. I got worms.
- 34. Do you have many webmaster friends, or is it a solitary hobby?
- I wish I had friends.
- 35. Do people in your real life know about your website?
- My one guy does!
- 36. Do you update your website very often? How often is "very often"?
- Whenever there is something new that I can add to a page. I usually wait till it backs up 3/4 times but yeah pretty often.
- 37. And the overall design, do you change that much? Why or why not?
- I want to change everything all the time.
- 38. Is your website more you-focused, hobby-focused, or outside world-focused?
- Focused on the self.

- No.

- I would do anything once.

- No.
- 42. Some people reject social media and use websites as a replacement. Do you keep social media outside of your
website?
- Yeah. I have a twitter addiction (send me to jail). Other than that not particularly. I do not like instagram or facebook, reddit or whatever.
- 43. How about instant messengers? Do you use a mainstream one like Discord or Telegram? Or something like
Matrix? Do you avoid them?
- I just have discord because that is what everyone I know uses.
- 44. Do you listen to music while you work on websites? If so, what kinds of artists?
- Not often. I cannot think while listening to music 9 times out of 10. Imagine ear ringing silence.
- 45. Do you keep everything you make on one website, or do you have more than one?
- Just the one.
- 46. On a similar note, do you keep to one topic on your site, or many?
- Whatever I want.
- 47. Do you present your real self, or at least try? Or do you construct a persona on purpose?
- I do not know. I have identity disturbance worms.
- 48. Have you ever made a good friend thanks to your website?
- No? Idk! Maybe??
- 49. Are you happy with the way HTML and CSS currently work?
- I am too out of the loop to know if it could be improved. If it works it works.
- 50. What are practices that you think people should avoid?
- None. Do whatever you want all the time, forever. (Maybe keep it organized, my stuff is so unorganized I curse my past self)
- 51. What about under-utilised practices, or things you think people should do more?
- More hand drawn ui!!! Go crazy.
- 52. Do you use a lot of semantic HTML? Or are you guilty of generic structure?
- Every time I try doing semantic html it looks like shart so... divs till I die.

- I try to but everything is chromium or firefox at the end of the day. I use chromium. So if its looking like shit on mozilla, brother I am sorry.
- 54. Speaking of, what's your preferred browser? Convince your readers why they should use it.
- I am not a browser guy. I just use what I use.
- 55. And what OS are you on?
- Windows 11 cuz I got a new PC
- 56. Do you have a strong opinion on that, or do you just happen to use it?
- I think Windows 11 is stupid and dumb and bloated and ugly so maybe I will change it one day soon.

- Hell No. Sorry.

- Fun. Unless its like crazy loud. Big fan of audio.volume = 0.3;

- Fun. I am in a few.

- Yeah. 3. Wish I had more. I feel mine need to reflect how much I know about the given subject so they are intimidating to make.

- Probably

- Express the self and figure myself out. Keep track of stuff.

- I would not call myself one but I do draw.

- Pixel Perfect Placement. I love you position absolute. Also no external css/js and not putting a dash in my class names.

- Do whatever you want. Research the shit out of everything (there are so many free resources) and mash it all together till it is something you are proud of! Ride the wave of other peoples brains and find your groove.

- Confusing to make imo.

- I tried to figure that out but I think the way I design shit clashes with it 99% of the time so.

- Css for sure. Html is just the base.

- Usually only when I have stuff. But I have a few unsorted pages for small vibes.

- If something is cool, I will go look. Sometimes seeing how others work out their js helps a ton.

- W3bschools html course. Code Maven. Stack Overflow. MDN. A million youtube tutorials. Bashing my head against a wall, and breaking down others f2u code to work for my own designs.
- 77. Do you ever force elements to do things they're not supposed to?
- All the time I think lmao.
- 78. Thoughts on floating elements?
- Cool for paragraphs and doodads in corners.
- 79. When you're sizing stuff, what do you use first? Do you use px, em, %, or something else?
- Pixels!! If I know I want it to be a different size later on I will use % to scale it with a parent element!

- MS UI Gothic!

- Sure, who wants me.

- One of my favorite past times.

- I usually follow them or add them to the collective over a bookmark. And oh lord that is so scary.
- 84. What do you want people to be most impressed with when they see your website?
- Idgaf about that tbh. Maybe to look around and be like "wow that is fun" and leave with an experience to take for their own sites. I like experiences.
- 85. Are you interested in technology outside of websites? Do you collect?
- Yeah. I wish I could be around it and have better luck to collect stuff! But I like learning about the way things work. I am into electronic repair videos atm.

- All the time. Way too fkn long.
- 87. When it comes to your website, who is your target audience?
- Myself of the future who is lost and lacking purpose.

- No.

- I am still learning. But I would like to make a game.
- 90. Speaking of programs that help you make websites, what do you think of static site generators (SSGs)? Have
you ever used one?
- I tried to use one way back yonder but found it confusing so I worked from scratch. I think they can be a good base to learn but I like seeing
more personalized designs when I am on da web.
- 91. Do you keep a hitcounter? Why or why not?
- Yeah. Though I do not really care, it is just because it looks good and makes sense on the homepage. Visual interest.

- No. I am an antisocial weirdo lol.
- 93. Do you write your page content directly into the editor, or do you prepare it elsewhere, like a text
document or a Word document?
- Sometimes it is directly on neocities editor. Other times it is in a document. Depends on what it is.
- 94. Do you think you appear cool to others? A more accurate answer now: do other people ever say you're cool?
- I do not appear to others. *fades away*
- 95. Are you embarrassed of your old work? Have you ever deleted everything out of shame?
- Yeah. I do this often with art. I want to reformat my folders and rework all the css and js to be neater but THAT is a big project.
- 96. Would you close down your website if you couldn't update it, or would you leave an archive?
- Yes. I would disappear forever. I do not like that my site has been archived on the Internet Archive but there is no use in fighting that right now with so many eyes on it.
But If I go I would contact them to take it off of there as well. This is really just for me!
- 97. Do you reveal a lot about yourself on your website? Or are you more secretive?
- Whatever I want. I overshare a lot on my bearblog thing but in general it is my interests and my hobbies so, it is gonna be personal. I do whatever. I am everywhere.
- 98. Are you willing to reveal who your best online friend is, and/or if they have a website?
- I do not know the answer to this one.
- 99. And do you optimise the images on your website?
- I compress them. Sometimes I lazy load them. I like images.
